AP Sports has been created by Andrew Poynter, often called AP on the sports fields we didn’t have to go far for a name for the shop & website!
Andrew is a highly skilled sports coach, coaching and playing sport at both Club and International level. He has been living full time in Ireland now for 4 years and as a player himself he saw that there was with more than 50 cricket and hockey clubs and schools on the north-side of Dublin that didn’t have local access to a specialist sporting store.
So he decided to have a go at changing that! He has started up Dublin’s first specialist Cricket and Hockey retail store on the North-side of the city. AP Sports aims to provide local players, clubs and schools with the highest quality cricket and hockey equipment together with one to one experienced advice.
“AP Sports is all about service and one to one advice. I’ve been playing and coaching at a professional and international level for a number of years and feel I can offer customers the best first hand experience and advice they need.”
AP Sports is based in Clontarf’s International cricketing ground on Castle Avenue, close to a number of local sports clubs and schools. As well as offering the latest sporting equipment at competitive prices, AP Sports also provides professional embroidery and printing services with a quick turnaround time.
AP Sports is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6-9pm and Saturday from 9-11am. You can also contact AP Sports directly on 087 3208125 if you would like to arrange an appointment to visit the store outside of opening hours.
